This retreat is here to bring back your cooking mojo! Don’t ask us how but somehow Petra has a magical way of making everyone fall in love with cooking again. Her secret? A mixture of creative and exciting flavor combinations you have never tasted before and a lot of love for everyone that comes on her path. She is able to connect you on a deeper level with what you eat, why you eat what you eat and how to feel what your body needs.

This retreat isn’t just about culinary mastery. A holistic approach to health and well-being goes beyond just food. Petra is a grounded yet playful soul and she infuses every element of the retreat with her wisdom and passion for healthy and happily living. Her wealth of experience in hosting retreats ensures that every moment is thoughtfully curated to nurture body and soul.

About the Masterclasses

2 Culinary Masterclasses in wich Petra will teach you all tricks & tips of the Plant-based kitchen

  1. Indian cooking (Ayurvedic influences)
    1. discover the health of spices and herbs
    2. Learn how to grind spices and make your own spice blend 
    3. Make various Indian components (think in chutneys, raita, curries, flavored rice etc)
  2. Food to Root goes Italian! 
    1. Craft delicious Italian dishes and sauces – no cheese needed!
    2. Roll up your sleeves and make your own pasta ( a very zen minded activity 🙂
    3. Even if Italian food is not your favorite, trust me, it will be after this! 
Additional elements of the week:
  • Gourmet dining experience: Next to the masterclasses, Petra will spoil you massively with gourmet plant-based cuisine prepared with love and creativity  
  • Morning yoga
  • Together we’ll explore the secrets of creating a happy, fulfilling lifestyle- one where wholesome nutrition, outdoor adventures and soul-nourishing practices come together. 
  • For the adventurous spirits, optional biking or surf sessions await, adding a sportive element to your retreat experience.
